How to use & example
- Paste JSON or load a UTF-8 JSON file up to 2 MB.
- Choose format, minify, sort keys, or flatten, then process.
- Copy or download the result. Arrays of objects can also be exported as CSV.
Example
Flattening {"user":{"name":"Sam"}} produces {"/user/name":"Sam"}. Slashes and tildes in keys are escaped using JSON Pointer rules.
UTF-8 file imports are limited to 2 MB and nesting to 100 levels. Unsafe integer numbers are rejected to avoid silently rounding IDs. Represent long identifiers as strings. CSV export is available for a nonempty array of objects.
Questions
What JSON syntax is accepted?
Strict JSON only: double-quoted keys and strings, no comments, and no trailing commas. Error messages come from the browser parser. UTF-8 BOMs at the start of an input are removed.
How are large numbers handled?
Unsafe integer values are rejected to avoid silently rounding long numeric identifiers. Use quoted strings for long IDs or values that require exact decimal precision. Ordinary numeric values follow JavaScript number precision.
How is CSV produced?
The root must be a nonempty array of objects. CSV columns are the union of top-level keys; nested objects and arrays are serialized as JSON inside their cells. Spreadsheet formula protection is enabled.
